The Intramurals Running Club of the Lake Worth campus participated in the 5K and 10K Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse 12th Annual Race for Hope on Saturday, October 15, at Anchor Park in Delray Beach.  More than 1,000 runners, walkers, spectators, and volunteers gathered to celebrate AVDA’s mission to promote violence-free relationships and social change by offering alternative choices to end violence.

Every student who participated in the race placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in their age group and received a metal from the Delray Beach Mayor Nelson S.
McDuffie. The Intramurals Running Club welcomes students, staff, faculty and administration to join them on the soccer field on Tuesdays at 4:30 p.m. and Fridays at 8 a.m. The next race is the Palm Beach Marathon on December 4 in West Palm Beach.
