Belle Glade campus held “Go Fly a Kite Day”

In mid-October, the Belle Glade campus continued to promote the college’s common reader, The Kite Runner, by Khaled Hosseini. According to the author’s web site, the book takes readers from Afghanistan in the final days of the monarchy to the present in an unforgettable, beautifully told story of the friendship between two boys growing up in Kabul.  In its honor and the college’s promotion of the book during its fall new student convocation, the Belle Glade campus held “Go Fly a Kite Day” and students, staff and faculty participated by flying kites.
